Each die-cast model in the Ronald McDonald House Charities collection helps to support Ronald McDonald Houses and other programmes devoted to helping seriously ill children to live happier, healthier lives.
Ronals McDonld Houses provide a home-away-from-home for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses at nearby hospitals. This replica of a Ford Model A also commemorates the opening of the first Ronald McDonald House in Hobart which will be able to accomodate 10 families at a time. Among the many colourful details on this model is a map of Tasmania and the entire McDonald's gang - Ronald, Grimace, Birdie and Hamburglar.
